Patrick Titzler edited this page Sep 5, 2015 · 4 revisions

Simple Data Pipe creates and runs one DataWorks activity for each selected source table to move data from the table's staging area in Cloudant to the target table in dashDB - your Enterprise Data Warehouse.

  1. Open the IBM Bluemix web console and log in using your IBM ID.
  2. Open the DASHBOARD and select the space into which Simple Data Pipe was deployed. (The default space is dev.)
  3. Click on the pipes-dataworks-service icon.
  4. Click on the arrow pointing to the right next to IBM DataWorks Forge.
    Open Dataworks Forge
  5. Select the My activites tab and Monitoring.
  6. Choose In progress to inspect the status of activities that have been created by Simple Data Pipe but have not yet completed.

Monitor the status of Dataworks activities 7. Open the Finished tab to review processing times for each completed activity.

Each Data Pipe activity is named after the table that DataWorks is populating in DashDB. The following prefixes are used to identify the source environment:

  • sf_<table_name> for salesforce.com
  • st_<stripe_object_type> for stripe.com.

Refer to this document for stripe.com specific mapping information.
