replace kotlin synthetic with viewBinding
Add `getCheckState()` to retrieve the current check state (0 for unchecked, 1 for checked, -1 for indeterminate). Also add `setCheckState()` to allow to modify check state. Update demo app to show how to use those features. Add enum class `CheckStates`.
