  • Replace search() with fullmatch() for strict RFC3339 format validation
  • Provide clear, actionable error messages with expected format
  • Add input whitespace stripping before validation
  • Improve exception handling with specific ValueError messages
  • Add comprehensive test cases for invalid formats
