It replaces traditional rule‑based methods with an intelligent pipeline that includes PCA‑based feature reduction, autoencoder anomaly detection, and classifiers like XGBoost.Built on a cleaned version of the CICIDS2017 dataset, the system is designed for real‑world use—offering a complete workflow from data preprocessing and model training to ready‑to‑deploy detection. Pre‑trained models are included, making it accessible for education, research, and practical intrusion detection applications.
