OK - this is whispr.dev's first project that's officially reached a point where i'm ready for/in need of outside world help adn discussion:

• finding increases in spee dpast the last set of boosts is proving somewheat difficult so any moments of inspiration to try as to how to squeeze even faster times outta this thing would be greatly welcomed!

frankly it's really gonna take something quite different to the stuff listed as tried in the documentsation already to avoid the trap of losing the gains made by doing such tiny increasses there's no real advantage by the time resultant losses due to recoding are factored in...
