Search Translation Dictionary by Value

It would be useful to be able to search the back office translation dictionary by value rather than only key. Keys are often named with structure or uniqueness in mind, and therefore don't reflect their actual textual content or aren't especially human-readable, e.g.: UmbracoForms.FileUpload.SelectedFilesListHeading.

e.g. As a translator, I want to search the Umbraco translation dictionary by value, so that I can more easily locate text to translate.

Scenario:
I am a content editor for a large multi-language site
I have received a report that a particular word or phrase on the website has been translated incorrectly
I am unable to easily find all instances of that word or phrase to correct it

I know of two ways around this at present:

• Export the dictionary, open it in a text editor, and search it. This is not editor-friendly, and depending on how the dictionary is structured (i.e., it has a large number of root nodes) may not be particularly viable.
• Query the cmsLanguageText database table. This requires developer intervention.

The Umbraco documentation has examples for extending the back office with the ability to search property values for documents, media, and members, but it's not clear if or how the same could be achieved for dictionary items.
