about SSL on esp8266

Hello,

We use esp8266 MQTT for home devices.

What kind of SSL certificate can be used for mass production, it is very inconvenient to use a certificate that may suddenly expire and that needs to be renewed on the client's device.

If possible, use a root ca or some other way?

A personal certificate is needed for each device, which is generated for each device separately?
