Calendar Range Selection jumps back when trying to select a larger range

Description

On calendar with range selection mode, if we want to select a larger range (e.g. a 3, 4 moths) the calendar jumps back.
The issue can be reproduced on the official documentation example.
Not sure if this is the expected behavior, a limitation or a bug.

Steps To Reproduce

Select a start date on the range.
Scroll down to increase the range between multiple months.
The calendar will jump to the start date month.

Actual Behavior

Calendar jumps to the initial month instead of letting the user to select a wider range
