Invalid validations for configuring products

Configuring products validates description can only be applied to a good and statement_descriptor can only be applied to a service.

Stripe doesn't have any validation like this, and reading the Stripe product object documentation, it doesn't seem this validation is correct.

Can the validation for configuring products be less constrained?

If it doesn't I'll spend some time on it later. Unfortunately I'm a little busy at the moment and haven't had time to look into it just yet.
