Pre-defined server configurations #4

@sudotac

Description

@sudotac

It is unimplemented because there is no "official" server for cgit unlike GitHub or GitLab.

let domains = {} " no pre-defined domains

However, there are well-known cgit servers, like git.kernel.org, git.savannah.gnu.org, ... and it would be useful if they are predefined out of the box.

Personally I collected cgit servers in the wild for dark theme userstyle, so it is easy to find them.

Current plan to which server picked up is as follows, though it might be controversial...

  • well-known servers
    • personal ones should be generally excluded
  • primary servers
    • mirrors should be excluded
    • excluded if github/gitlab alternative already exists
