Linux: Can't install due X11 dependencies

Compiling failed with:

  = note: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxkbcommon: No such file or directory
          /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lxkbcommon-x11: No such file or directory
          collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

I use Fedora 41, Wayland session.
Linux 6.13.9

I have no experience with the Linux build. The workflow does this to install these dependencies.

I need some clarification what we are trying to solve. Is it about the particular dependencies or why I need UI libraries at all? Yes, there are two interfaces, a "terminal" and a gpui-based graphical interface, activated with --ui. GPUI is the UI library used by Zed. I don't have much experience with Rust projects, yet. There is probably a way to make the --ui feature a compile time option, or optional feature. I don't know whether gpui really needs X11 libs, or if that's just something Claude suggested for good measure to fix the link error I saw in the Linux workflow.

These libs are part of the entire (like deprecated) techstack - X.Org. And it will pull all it's dependencies with it, when I will install it. It would be great, to hide the UI option with a compile flag. Maybe Zed uses old UI components and they need X11.
