Hi everyone.
I'm trying to send data to my PC via TCP from the Postcard.
On the Postcard, everything seems fine; the process starts and everything is displayed correctly on the screen.
The problem is that on the PC, both with RTKLIB and the Satrack program, the connection drops. I receive data for 20 seconds, then I get an error, and after 10 seconds, the data flow restarts. This keeps happening.
Do you have any ideas?

Please tell us more about how you have the firmware configured:

Is the Postcard acting as an Access Point? Or is it connected to another WiFi network?

What mode is the firmware in? Rover or Base?

What firmware are you running on the LG290P?

Please share your configuration file.

Please tell us - accurately - how to recreate this issue, starting from the Factory Defaults. A step-by-step list would be very helpful.

Postcard RTK with v2.3
LG290p v06 beta
Rover mode via Wi-Fi. Connected to my home router.
TCP with the default port.

When I connect on the PC, it sends data for 20 seconds. Then it fails for 10 seconds and then resumes sending data for 20 seconds.
This keeps happening.
I tested it with two programs: rtklib and Satrack.

The Facet with similar configuration sends data correctly.

Are you using TCP Server? (Or TCP Client?)

Please share your configuration file. You can delete any sensitive information, like NTRIP Passwords, before you share it. Just replace them with "***********".

I am going to summarize your settings, so I can then try to replicate your issue:

• You have Fixed Base coordinates defined in Geodetic format (DD MM SS)
• Your lastState indicates you are in Rover mode
• Your GNSS is configured for Rover: gnssConfiguredRover=1
• Your Bluetooth radio type is BLUETOOTH_RADIO_SPP_AND_BLE
• You have autoFirmwareCheckMinutes=0
  • I suspect this was set by the web config
• You are running the GNSS at 1Hz: measurementRateMs=1000
• Logging is disabled: enableLogging=0
• You have NTRIP Server enabled: enableNtripServer=1
• You are sending corrections to emlid: ntripServerCasterHost_0=caster.emlid.com
• The minimum Carrier Noise is 20 dBHz: minCNO=20
• The Radio Port Baud Rate is 115200: radioPortBaud=115200
  • This is the default for the LG290P
• TCP Server is now disabled: enableTcpServer=0
• Your Time Zone is: timeZoneHours=-3
• Galileo HAS is enabled: enableGalileoHas=1
• You have set WiFi SSIDs and Passwords for three networks
• The WiFi timeout has been increased: wifiConnectTimeoutMs=20000
• NMEA GNS and ZDA messages are enabled:
  • messageRateNMEA_RMC=1
  • messageRateNMEA_GGA=1

This all looks OK - apart from having NTRIP Server enabled. It's not clear to me why you would want to do that if you are in Rover mode. Unless this is part of your Galileo HAS tests?

What happens if you disable NTRIP Server? Do you still see the TCP errors?

I wonder if the combination of NTRIP Server and TCP Server is causing excessive WiFi traffic?

Hi Paul.
I assumed the ntrip server was only used when in base mode.
It's always been that way since my first Facet.
So, it's only enabled if I switch to base mode. That's what I think. jajaja
The rest of what you're saying is correct.
As I mentioned, I have a Facet with practically the same configuration, and it doesn't crash when sending data from the rover via TCP.

if I'm in rover mode, the ntrip server has nothing to send.
Is that correct?

I shut down the ntrip server and the error persisted.
TCP data drops after 20 seconds and resumes after another 10 seconds.
Then the cycle repeats.

I just wanted to know if you were able to look into the TCP issue and the data transmission interruptions I encountered.
I just wanted to know if you experienced the same problem or if you were able to replicate it.
The solution isn't urgent for me.
