Is it possible to set a a default value and highlight mentions, links etc?

I would like to know if it’s possible to set a default value in the editor (for example, when loading pre-existing text) and still have mentions, links, and other enriched elements highlighted correctly.

Currently, when I set an initial value, the text appears, but mentions and links are not automatically recognized or styled.

Hi, this is totally possible.

Both defaultValue prop and ref.current.setValue method accept both plain text and HTML. If you set valid HTML <EnrichedTextInput> will automatically parse it to styled text.

Keep in mind that valid HTML has to be HTML supported in the library. So ideally, this should be exactly what you receive from the onChangeHtml event callback
