I've been trying to build a simple midi proxy for a few weeks (I'm just looking to intercept messages between a device and host so I can control LEDs.etc.), and as someone who isn't a C programmer, it's been a world of pain of bugs, outdated libraries and barely supported hardware.

However, your repositories are a great help and they've pointed me in the right direction. Unfortunately they're still a bit scary for me (I like nice soft arduino), but I really appreciate all of the extensive documentation you write.

Arduino and C are close cousins, so don't let C intimidate you. If you choose to use this project as a basis for your own code, and you encounter issues, please feel free to file an issue here and I will attempt to help you. That said, for basic help on the C SDK, the Raspberry Pi forums are probably a better and faster way to get help.
