[BUG] Extension in limbo on insufficient funds GateHub wallet connection

Steps to reproduce

1. Log into your GateHub wallet where there is a USD payment pointer and the account has a zero balance.
2. Install the WM extension from 'Chrome Web Store'
3. Go through the post-install flow and enter the GateHub USD payment to connect the extension.
4. Give the extension consent auto connect to the GateHub wallet.

Expected result

1. The extension successfully connects to the GateHub wallet.
2. The post-install flow completes with a window showing a message that the wallet connection was successful, and the user can safely close the window/tab.

Actual result

1. The GateHub wallet displays an error "FAILED. Insufficient balance on payment pointer."
2. I click on the extension's icon, and the extension opens but the extension's UI remains stuck/unresponsive, and the text on the Connect button reads "Waiting for your approval". There is no way to interact with the extension to cancel the connection process, or try again with a different wallet address.

This is very specific to how GateHub UI behaves. The open payments call (that the extension is waiting for) isn't finished until you click the done button. If you click the done button, then only it'll complete the process.
Alternatively, in few minutes, the process will time out, letting you begin again.

So, there's not much we can do from extension side here.
