markdown tables/images not rendered

Hi,

The README.md/.Rmd per project gets rendered partially. For some images markdown code doesn't get rendered dependent on the context. Same is the case for tables, but I think all of them are affected.

Example:

1. https://code.bioconductor.org/browse/rhdf5/ Funding table
2. https://code.bioconductor.org/browse/zellkonverter/ badge images in the head and the table in the build status section are returned as markdown code.

I am not sure, whether this is out of scope here, since it is probably done by a dependency. Please close the issue, if it is.
