mqtt datasource is not receiving data if Grafana is behind reverse proxy

Hi

my setup:

• Grafana in a docker container at Synology DS216+II
• flashMQ MQTT broker

connection to MQTT server is green

when I'm in my internal network and connect to Grafana directly via IP:port everything works and plugin receives data

As soon as I'm connecting via reverse proxy the plugin stops to deliver data. All other Grafana panels work...

Any hint why this is happening?

Same problem discovered today. Grafana is behind the NGINX. Websockets are enabled for Node RED, but MQTT in Grafana does not work. Direct connection is OK

I know this is an old thread, but if you're using Nginx Proxy Manager, just enable WebSocket support, if you know how to enable that in Nginx and other reverse proxies odds are it will work
