Code Quality: More of a credibility problem. Windows Store Price??

I JUST discovered files.
My first move was to go to the windows store, where the price to download is exorbitant.
Then I found the download link which was.. free!

I believe in supporting open source devs. I will likely be sending some support to this community, if there is another way.
But the store listing gives the impression that you are trying to scam people who don't know any better into supporting the developers, (Pretty heavily), rather than having people support the project because it's a good app! It casts a scam shadow over the whole project which leaves a lousy taste in my mouth.

This project looks DARN good by the way. I have hated Windows Explorer for SO long. So many stupid design choices. But maybe you could reconsider that store price? You don't have to kill it, but making it like $5 would hurt a lot less for people who discover the free method later.

I know, everyone has an opinion. This is just mine. I hope I have made a decent case for it at least.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that the Store description mentions that Files is also open source with more details on our website (Microsoft doesn't allow mentioning "free" in the description of a paid app). At the end of the day, we have a free version available in the spirit of open source, but our main product is the version in the Store as this supports the continued development of Files.
