Description
To facilitate convenient and cost-efficient testing and demoing of potentially up to 50 wallets implementing payment authorization support, there must be public, open and free test sites, aka "sandboxes". Similar solutions are provided by most banks for their Open Banking support. Examples:
https://developer.mastercard.com/open-banking-connect/documentation/sandbox/sandbox-scenarios/
https://develop.hsbc.com/knowledge-article/get-started-open-banking-apis
https://sandbox-openbanking.wso2.com/devportal/apis
For EUDIW-4-Payments there should be a demo merchant as well.
This is a major project.
There is a snag, the interface to banks is currently out of scope for the EUDIW project.
FWIW, in my private take on EUDIW-4-Payments I have redefined Open Banking:
https://github.com/cyberphone/open-banking-2.0?tab=readme-ov-file#open-banking-20
Without such a facility the cost for adopting EUDIW-4-Payments may be too high.
