maybe clarify the license by adding a toplevel LICENSE file

i'm about to package it for guix and they only accept FSDG compliant packages. that means it must have a compatible license.

finally i have found an "MIT" in the package.json file, but maybe you could consider adding a toplevel LICENSE file to make it clear.
