DocumentDB has introduced support for serverless in June/July of this year.
It has also since been implemented in the AWS provider: see here

Describe Ideal Solution
I want to be able to flag that a DocDB cluster must be serverless, and optionally provide the serverless_v2_scaling_configuration. This should prevent the creation of additional cluster instances.
