First tests on XN - Unable to rename and some peculiarities

I've installed the Extension on a recently-updated version XN 13.3-RELEASE-p4.
Created a first jail and noticed that:
a) starting it from the UI does not populate the ip address and leaving the network interface "auto" at creation, it did not select what I thought would be the auto selection: "cbsd0". My available ones due to my tests with other jail managers are: vmx0, lo0, cbsd0, bridge1, epair1a.
b) modification of the jail settings via the UI is not possible, regardless of the jail being running or stopped. The change is made on the UI, then after starting, it reverts to previous setting.
c) I can see activity at a shell that I have not seen evidence of it happening from the UI when using #cbsd j"command" ie jstop

I was able to rename via "cbsd jrename" command to achieve the change of fqdn . Great.
However that change seems to have caused loss of network connectivity and on the UI the gateway ip has defaulted to "1". Changing it to what it should be (in my case 172.16.0.1) again does not save.
Can you please tell me the location of the file in XN where the setting needs to be changed? The documented method in https://www.bsdstore.ru/en/13.0.x/wf_jconfig_ssi.html for jconfig does not work in XN. Just loads of errors "inc_menu_index: not found) types.
