Weekly Minutes For CMPE491

Date: 13-14 March

1. Discussion Summary

Discussed on previous parlament project and on conceiving an ontology.

2. Decisions

Decision 1: We will directly use the created TBMM corpus (LDA Model in the tbmm_corpus.mm file) before having the txt corpora
Decision 2: We will prepare an ontology structure.
Decision 3: Old project will be maintained in another private repo instead of this one.
Decision 4: Weekly meetings will be held on Thursdays (and with coffee if possible!).

3. Action Items

Action Item 1: Directly load the old corpus and do visualizations after fixing some minor bugs (finished this as of 15 march )
Action Item 2: Preliminary reading and drafting for the ontology.
Action Item 3: In the long term get the text dataset (scans,ocr's etc.) from Onur hoca
