[Urgent] Charged Incorrectly, Account Reset Issue and Refund Request #58

Dear Augment Code Support Team,

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the recent renewal and reset of my subscription. I initially subscribed to your service on 17th September 2025 at approximately 7:48 PM IST. However, to my surprise, I was charged for the renewal today—17th October 2025—at the very start of the day (likely around 12:00 AM IST), and my account was reset with new monthly messages. This effectively means my plan was renewed and my message balance was reset almost 20 hours earlier than it should have been, which is unfair.

This is highly unreasonable and unacceptable. A monthly subscription should logically renew after a full 30-day cycle, which in my case should be after 7:48 PM IST on 17th October, not at the beginning of the day. The premature charge and reset have not only disrupted my usage but have also wiped out my remaining credits—300 out of 600 messages—that I had not yet consumed.

Furthermore, I have not used a single message from the new cycle, and I am also not interested in continuing with the credit-based system you plan to implement.

Given this situation, I am requesting the following:

  1. A full refund for the amount charged today (17th October 2025), since I have not used any part of the new cycle.
  2. Restoration of my earlier credits (300 out of 600) and access time equivalent (with 20 hours ) to use them properly, since the reset occurred prematurely and which you charged prematurely. And make sure it's messages, not credits which you are implementing for 20th, the shady pricing model, I paid for messages not credits.
  3. An explanation for why my account renewal executed at midnight rather than at the actual subscription time of 7:48 PM. You need to correct this billing issue on your portal.

I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and fairly. Please consider this not just a request for correction but also feedback on how crucial it is to align billing and resets with actual subscription timings—not arbitrary calendar starts.
