purl-next: Foster PURL adoption and software supply chain security #99
Description
The objective is to strengthen the overall open source software supply chain security by ensuring PURLs are correct and valid across software ecosystems.
Validating the integrity of open source packages and promoting its integration in package repositories promotes the adoption of accurate and valid PURLs across ecosystems. Reporting (and helping resolve) any key security issues discovered during this project to the affected upstream FOSS projects strengthens the positive impact of this work on the larger software ecosystem.
