Imported Power App is not connected to the SharePoint UI

I'm able to import the Power App from the dist folder to the destination Power Apps tenant. The data references look correct. I don't receive any error on publishing to SharePoint. However, when I load the file properties from the customized document library, it loads the default view and edit SharePoint form.

The document library's form settings are set to use a custom form. However when I choose "modify form in PowerApps, it generates a basic Power App to customize the default form.

How can I replace the default form with the imported version?

The json file within the source and dist zip files did not have an "embeddedApp" section. I manually added this to the dist zip and its now working as expected. What would cause this section to be dropped?

Hi @spg-iwilson , sorry, it was a busy period. I didn't have time to check the issues on GitHub. I can't promise, I will try have a look at it.
