Difference to ember-cli-deploy-git?

I'm wondering in which points this addon differs from ember-cli-deploy-git. Both add the ability to commit a build on a git branch as part of an ember-cli-deploy pipeline, aren't they? Is there any reason that none of them was deprecated in favor of the other? Both are more than two years old by now. I'm asking here cause ember-cli-deploy-git seems to be used more (1.357 weekly downloads reported by npm compared to 105).

Please note that there is also ember-cli-github-pages, which shares the same goals but is not build as an ember-cli-deploy plugin. This one seems to be used most currently (1.497 weekly downloads).

This addon requires the least manual effort. E. g. you don't have to create and push a gh-pages branch by hand, etc.
