dotsTheMachineConfiguration File Creation and Settings

dotsTheMachineConfiguration.writeUserSettingsFile() does create a configuration file, but on my computer the file it creates has an ' , which causes issues. If I save the file as a different name, it will save, but then any changes I make to the default path do not get saved in this file. I can change the default path using dotsTheMachineConfiguration.setDefaultValue, but these changes don't seem to stick when matlab restarts or when a task it trying to read the configuration file
