Hello, Thank you for the suggestion. While Notion does offer ID columns, this feature has certain limitations. From Notion's frontend, unique IDs are automatically generated for each database entry. However, I find that this functionality is not significantly different from the standard "Name" column in several key respects:

By now, Notion databases offer an ID column (unique) that could be used to merge existing entries.
Currently, merging only works with the title column, which does not guarantee uniqueness.
Moving the key to the id column would allow the following:
