splitting in the gui

Dear Devs, i saw that now splitting is supported in the gui, but could not find any documentation on how to use it
like physically how can i mark something for a split?

You're right, this is not in the docs (yet).

From the scatter views (amplitude/depth) you can enable "Select" (top right), draw lassos (if you holdo shift you can have multiple selections), and then click on "Split" (top right) or ctrl+S.

Indeed. The problem with our NDScatterView is that by design PCA projections are only available for a subset of spikes (mainly for efficiency). Since for splitting we need the indices of all spikes in a split, splitting is currently not supported for it.
