Welcome to the SimulationEverywhere wiki!
SimulationEverywhere is a team of contributors working in many open source Simulation initiatives including Simulation Engines, Model repositories, Visualization Tools, and many libraries and frameworks. Our Simulation engines provide real time simulation, integration with embed systems, distributed simulation, cloud on the simulation, Simulation Driven Development, etc.
The tools we developed are used in university courses, eg. University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, Carleton University in Canada, ...
Since the inception of CD++ simulator in 1998, we run a long way leading to the publication of many research papers, you can check many of them here: http://cell-devs.sce.carleton.ca/publications/
Currently our development is centerred in Cadmium Simulator, a Modern C++ (c++17) highly efficient simulator mostly based in Template Meta Programming.
We are applying to join GSOC this year: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/
Accepted orgs are going to be announced February 20th, 2020. However, it is not early to start thinking in proposals. We recommend students to make proposals based in the Boost Libraries template: https://github.com/boostorg/boost/wiki/Google-Summer-of-Code%3A-Submission-Template
We created a few example of possible projects we looking forward to mentor this year, but we will work on getting any proposal related to any of our project to be considered
