When you're in a game, opening up the menu (pressing "accept" on an empty square) and selecting anything in the info sub-menu opens up an overlay that you cannot exit via the "back" (b by default) or "escape" (escape key) buttons; you have to use the mouse to exit the screen (as far as everything I have tried goes).
This causes an issue when on linux (which lacks gamepad support), as gamepads are not supported by default. Therefore (unless your controller is relatively modern and has a trackpad of some sort), an entry into one of those screens results in the player needing to use a mouse, which is at best inconvenient, at worst really annoying. It's also somewhat annoying even on mouse and keyboard, thus a change worth making even outside of my somewhat niche scenario.
The screens brought up in the info submenu should be exitable without a mouse, or at the very least moved from the top choice in the in-game menu (it's extra annoying when you accidentally enter the menu, which I do occasionally lol).
