[Question] Will there be an NPM package available?

I wondering if, as a developer, outside of Azure Automation, will there be a NPM package that I could pull down and run myself? As a node.js developer I would like to test the DSC pull server on internal resources between using in Azure. So, will there be an NPM package available?
