Be able to reset average after a tare

If I put a weight and remove it, every now and then the reading averaged value does not return to zero even if I tare the scale, is there a way to reset the average to zero after a tare? Thanks

Upon inspecting the library code, I see that I can call begin and it zeroes everything, what would be great is to have a constant minimum value to auto tare the scale.
IE: const double AUTO_TARE = 0.3
If the scale reads anything below this value, the average is always 0
