A color with higth contrast is better for legibility and fast position track of cursor.

Is very hard track the cursor with current color (81277e) With proposed color (1EE488) the cursor is easily trackable. PD: 1EE488 is green Codely <3 |

I agree. Right now is very hard to see the cursor. If it is preferible keep the same "color" but make it a litle brigth you can try with I don't have a hard opinion on the color itself, but it must be changed to something more visible.
