🐞 Makefile renamed to 'Makefile.make' randomly #2061

Sometimes, my Makefile is renamed to 'Makefile.make' automatically without my consent
To Reproduce
Sometimes a message popup appears asking to save the file, if agreed, it creates a copy of the file with the extension .make
Replacing all the content on the Makefile and then saving it adds the extension .make in the end of the file
Expected Behavior
On those situations I would expect the file extension to be respected, the file doesn't have one and shouldn't have
