Getting started

This guide shows the initial steps to get started with Algoloop.

1. Install Algoloop from Microsoft Store and start it up.
   
   
2. On the Markets tab, tick checkbox QuantConnect to download QuantConnect default data. This takes a a minute.
3. Select "QuantConnect (1)" in Markets tab to view all downloaded instruments.
   
   
4. Expand "Stock (2)" in Markets tab.
5. Select "aapl" in Markets tab to view price chart.
   
   
6. Switch to Fundamentals tab within Makets tab.
7. Select "R12" in the dropdown list to view fundamental data.
   
   
8. Switch to Strategies tab.
9. Expand "QuantConnect (77)" in Strategies tab and select the first strategy in the list.
   
   
10. Press the "Play" button to start strategy backtest.
11. When "Completed strategy" is shown in the status bar, expand the selected strategy.
12. Select the expanded item and switch to Chart tab to view the backtest result.
    
    
13. Switch to Trades tab to view the backtest trades.
